Saint Laurent - Collection Spring/Summer 2017 in Paris ( with interviews )

Designer : Anthony VaccarelloMood : The famous ‘YSL’ by Cassandre, suspended from a crane, welcomed the guests and illuminated the entrance Space : show between the arcades of a ‘hôtel paticulier’ on the rue de Bellechasse in the 7th arrondissement in Paris 1st collection for Belgian Anthony Vaccarello after the depature of Hedi Slimane Silhouette : sexy, couture, inspired by the 80s, with miniskirts, oversized denim trousers, leather tops and everything works on the asymmetric cuts and prominent shoulders. Focus on : the smoking, the lace blouses, the transparence and animal prints. The Saint Laurent codes are reinterpreted by Vaccarello with modernity and rigour. A continuation of the founder’s spirit, Yves Saint Laurent, for a new step in the history of the label To note : the heeled pumps with the YSL logo, adorned with ruffles. Interviews Pierre Bergé :I knew Vaccarello having given him a prize as the president of the ANDAM at the time, but I find that his collection has been excellentI really liked the references to Saint Laurent, and there are a lot, the use of black, the beginning was very impressive, I was very happy to have seen that and I am very happy that he is the head of Saint Laurent today. Anna Wintour :I thought it was very young I thought it was recognizably saint Laurent without being a complete… retrospective. He puts a really young modern take on the clothes, on some very recognizable pieces but I think it’s what every girl wants to wear, the leather jacket, the pants, the one shoulder top so I thought it was a fantastic first time out so I’m excited to see what he does next On a runway show you have to push the envelope and I think he was right to do that and it was a nod to what Yves did himself so why not J’ai pensé que c’était très jeune, j’ai pensé que c’était reconnaissable ‘Saint Laurent’ sans être une rétrospective, il a ajouté une vision sur les vêtements, sur quelques pièces très reconnaissables, mais je pense que ce sont ce que les jeunes filles veulent porter, les vestes en cuir, les pantalons, les top avec un manche, donc j’ai trouvé que c’était une première fantastique donc j’ai hâte de voir ce que donnera la suite.Sur un défilé, il faut en faire un max,et je pense qu’il a raison de le faire et c’était un clin d'œil à Yves Saint Laurent lui –même donc pourquoi pas ; Music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
