Sprawled out across 8 halls, the 20th anniversary edition of Maison & Objet had the best in interiors and accessories from all around the world. Held at the expansive Parc des Expositions de Villepinte by Charles de Gaulle airport, professionals from all over Europe fly in to get inspired.

Scandinavian chic stole the show once again with Danish designers in particular making an impact. Brands such as Bloomingville, Design Letters & friends, Hubsch and Hay showcased clean-lined designs in pale woods and neutral fabrics, utilising simple linear graphics, typography and ombre effects to add surface interest.
We also saw a large amount of textural panelling. Stone and wood were combined in table tops by Heerenhuis Manufactuur and wood is panelled with smooth surfaces like enamelled metal, glass and ceramics by Arita, Bloomingville and Universo Positivo.

Arabic influence was also prevelant, with moderinised and simplified interpretations of North-African lighting designs visible at Zenza and Simla.
